Subject-specific curriculum maps

Math curriculum maps look different from ELA curriculum maps. Math maps often show a linear sequence of topics with explicit prerequisite chains. ELA maps often show thematic units with genre cycles and writing types. Science maps in NGSS classrooms often show phenomenon-based units. This generator produces maps appropriate to the subject, not a generic one-size-fits-all template.

A curriculum map is the highest zoom level — the whole year at a glance. Unit plans are mid-zoom — a week to a month of instruction. Daily lesson plans are the detailed zoom.
