Objective

SWBAT add fractions with unlike denominators using common denominators and fraction tiles.

Hook5 min

Warm-up: estimate 1/2 + 1/3 using fraction bars. Predict whether the answer is more or less than 1.

I Do12 min

Model 1/2 + 1/3 with fraction tiles, then the algorithm: find a common denominator, rename, add.

We Do13 min

Guided practice on 3 problems with scaffolded difficulty. Partner check after each.

You Do15 min

Independent set: 6 problems. Teacher confers with 2-3 students.

Exit ticket

3/4 + 1/6 — show your work with a fraction bar and the algorithm.

About this tool

The AI Infant Lesson Plan Template

Infant lesson plans are more about intentional caregiving than about 'lessons.' A good infant template structures the day around the baby's natural rhythm — feeding, sleep, play — and embeds intentional sensory, language, and motor experiences into those routines. This generator produces infant templates for three developmental bands (0-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months) with age-appropriate activities.

Routine-based planning for infants

You can't plan an infant's day by the clock — feeding and sleep run the schedule. A good infant template plans around those anchor points: intentional activities during awake time, caregiving-as-curriculum during feeding and diapering, and family-like routines that help babies predict what comes next. This template includes a routine-based structure with activity suggestions for each awake period.

  • Tummy time, reaching, and gross motor activities

  • Sensory experiences matched to developmental stage

  • Language-rich caregiving prompts (naming, narrating)

  • Parent communication section for the daily sheet

Developmental milestones as planning anchors

Infant lesson planning is really developmental-milestone planning: what's the next skill to encourage, and what activities build toward it? This template lists the typical milestones for the age band you specify (0-6, 6-9, 9-12 months) and ties each suggested activity to the milestone it supports. Teachers use this for both curriculum planning and for the parent-facing daily sheet.

Family engagement built into the plan

Infant programs send home a daily communication sheet — feeding times, sleep times, diaper changes, and a narrative of what the baby did that day. This template includes a family-engagement section that the teacher fills in throughout the day so the daily sheet writes itself. That saves 10-15 minutes at pickup time.

How it works

Topic in, plan out — in under a minute

  1. 1

    Describe your lesson

Topic, grade level, subject, class length. Paste standards, unit objectives, or a single sentence — whatever you have.

  2. 2

    AI drafts the plan

Time-blocked phases with objectives, activities, differentiation, and assessment — matched to the framework and cognitive load you picked.

  3. 3

    Edit, print, teach

Review, tweak any section, toggle standards on or off, and export a clean PDF. The output is a draft you control, not a black box.

More impressive though is that it corrects student answers not simply using a pre-written answer, but by following the thought process they've pursued.

I've really enjoyed using the GradeWithAI program. It saves me a ton of time, especially when I have class sizes of 35 or 36 students times five.

GradeWithAI doesn't just grade. It gives the student reasoning as to why every point is awarded or not awarded. That is a very valuable thing for the students.

GradeWithAI [provides] students with timely individualized feedback on their homework assignments and formative assessments. This is a job that is virtually impossible for a teacher to do on a regular basis.
