How to build a spelling bee word list
A spelling bee word list is a set of words ordered from easy to hard, so the early rounds keep most spellers in and the later rounds produce a winner. This generator writes that list for your grade, with a definition and part of speech for each word and an answer key.

Ordering words by difficulty
Name the rounds in your description ('10 warm-up words, 10 grade-level words, 10 challenge words and 5 tiebreakers') and the list comes back in that order. A typical structure:
Round 1: high-frequency words for the grade, so nobody goes out early
Round 2: the grade's spelling patterns
Round 3: the next grade's patterns, roots and affixes
Tiebreakers: harder words in case round 3 produces no winner
